Individuals attempting to sell state land in Parkent apprehended

Individuals attempting to illegally sell state reserve land in the Parkent district of Tashkent region have been apprehended. The incident was uncovered during an operational event conducted by law enforcement agencies.
It is reported that the chairman of a neighborhood citizens' assembly in Parkent district and a citizen born in 1970 agreed to sell 10 sotix of state reserve land to a buyer for 20,000 USD. They claimed they would legalize the land through official channels.
These individuals promised to process the relevant land documents by paying 2,000-3,000 USD to an engineer at the district branch of the State Cadastre Chamber. Essentially, an attempt was made to sell state reserve land for personal gain.
Officers of the State Security Service, in cooperation with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and internal affairs agencies, conducted an operational event. During the operation, the neighborhood chairman, the cadastre engineer, and the citizen born in 1970 were caught red-handed while receiving 17,000 USD and 37 million soums.
This incident shows that some individuals are still attempting to profit through illegal means in land-related matters. In particular, attempting to sell state reserve lands or legalize them through forged documents is considered a serious crime before society and the law.
A criminal case has been initiated against these individuals. Investigative actions are ongoing, and all details of the incident are being legally examined.
In short, this case in Parkent once again demonstrated that deviating from the law in land matters leads to severe consequences. State land is not someone's private property. For those who say they can "fix it through talks," the law will now provide the answer.
