An electric car caught fire after a traffic accident that occurred at night in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent. The incident caused concern among the population, but the fire and rescue service arrived on time and quickly took control of the situation. Most importantly, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
According to the information, on November 19 at 22:58, the Emergency Situations Department was promptly notified about the fire of an electric car after the accident in the "Dilabad" neighborhood. Only six minutes after the appeal, fire and rescue equipment arrived at the indicated address.
Thanks to the prompt actions of the firefighters, the fire was completely extinguished at 23:06, that is, in just two minutes. Video footage and photos from the scene show that the fire could have spread in a short time, but prompt measures prevented it.
According to official information, no injuries were reported among the driver or passengers at the time of the incident. According to the rescuers, the timely appeal and the prompt arrival of the brigade were the decisive factor in the rapid extinguishing of the fire.
Currently, the causes of the electric vehicle's fire are being investigated. Officials are also considering the possibility of a technical malfunction, battery insulation problems, or a short circuit following an accident. A corresponding expert examination has been appointed on the issue.
This situation in Chilanzar demonstrated the need to further strengthen attention to the safe operation of electric vehicles in the context of the growing number of them. Special services urge the population to immediately report such cases - because every minute is crucial.
