In recent days, an unusual situation has been observed in Tashkent, which is becoming a reality mixed with humor: girls are massively reselling presented bouquets through Telegram, creating a new market in the city called "flower auction."
The scenario is almost the same for everyone: first a beautiful photo in an Instagram story, and then a bouquet is posted for online sale with the thought "oh, that could have been paid for." Customers at the auction are happy to buy almost fresh, even fresh flowers at half the price of a regular store.
However, there is another side to this process. Entrepreneurs engaged in flower trade are concerned that this trend could disrupt market equilibrium, cheapen gift culture, and undermine the value of traditions. They ask people to value flowers not only as a commodity, but also as a symbol of kindness and attention.
This "flower circle," expanding from city streets to social networks, once again demonstrates unique social trends in Tashkent.
