Electricity went out at Tashkent airport at night

During the night hours of January 6, a short-term power outage was recorded at Tashkent International Airport. This was reported by Uzbekistan Airports.
According to the information, at 02:28 local time, due to a minor technical malfunction at the Kuylyuk substation, a partial power outage occurred in the airport area. At the same time, this situation did not affect aircraft takeoffs and landings.
It was reported that the airport’s departure and arrival halls were continuously supplied with electricity through backup diesel generators and UPS systems. All services continued to operate in normal mode.
As a result of the prompt actions of specialists, power supply was fully restored by 02:49. The company apologized to passengers for any temporary inconvenience and expressed gratitude for their understanding.
Officials emphasized that the situation was fully under control.
