MP Bobur Bekmurodov strongly criticizes Solovyov’s remarks

Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov said on the “Solovyov LIVE” program that Russia could carry out a “special military operation” in other post-Soviet countries as it did in Ukraine. His remarks sparked widespread debate and backlash across the region.

In response, the leader of the “Yuksalish” movement and MP Bobur Bekmurodov firmly criticized Solovyov’s on-air statement. In his view, the Kremlin’s “fantasy journalist” promoting “special operations” in Central Asia is dangerous and unjustified, effectively calling for a blatant disregard of international law.

As Bekmurodov noted, times have changed: today, the fate of nations is not decided by shouting in TV studios or by orders from “big brothers.” He said borders are a symbol of independence and honor, and any threat must be repelled through national unity and unwavering resolve.

According to the MP, such provocations create not only territorial risks but also damage relations with neighbors. He added that Uzbekistan has sufficient will, resources, and courage to defend its home and independence.

Concluding his remarks, Bekmurodov stressed that the values of national unity and independence are eternal. He said any external threats will be overcome through the people’s absolute will and solidarity. The statement reflects not only political strength but also national pride and conviction.
