A video showing that a sharp dispute broke out in Tashkent between a truck driver and a group of citizens has widely spread on social networks. The situation in the video caused various discussions among the public. Regarding this incident, the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs provided official information.
It is reported that on February 9 of the current year, in the territory of Yusuf Sakkokiy mahalla of Uchtepa district, first a dispute and then a conflict occurred between the driver of an “Isuzu” truck — N.A., born in 2001 (his passenger — X.N., born in 2005), and citizens — S.S., born in 1993, O.S., born in 1990, S.A., born in 2006, and A.A., born in 2008.
According to preliminary information, during the conflict the truck passenger X.N. struck citizen O.S. in the head with a metal object, causing bodily injuries.
On this fact, the Investigation Department under the IIO FMB of Uchtepa district opened a criminal case under Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan — “Hooliganism”.
The suspects were detained in procedural order. At present, investigative actions are continuing.
