In Bekobod, the body that went missing after a traffic accident has not been found for 60 days
In the controversial case surrounding the traffic accident that occurred on December 11, 2025 in the Bekobod district of the Tashkent region, the most serious question remains open: the body of a 43-year-old citizen has still not been found.
According to information, in this incident the citizen was injured, but there are claims that instead of taking him to the hospital, another course of action was chosen. As of February 11, 2026, it has been 60 days since the deceased has been searched for, but the body has not come out of the water.
The deceased’s relatives are putting forward the suspicion that the body may not have been thrown into the canal, but could have been hidden elsewhere. They say that with the help of the regional governor, a part of the canal was temporarily closed, and after the water level decreased the search became much easier. Also, about 150 people consisting of neighborhood residents and relatives went down into the canal and took part in the search work, but there was no result.
It is reported that the Nexia-3 car involved in the traffic accident was driven by an оператив officer of the Bekobod city Internal Affairs Department. Local sources also reported that a driver coming from the opposite direction witnessed the incident and emphasized the need to take the injured citizen to the hospital. Later, search operations began, and various versions of the case are being discussed.
For now, the main thing is — where is the body? The relatives express concern: “the search continues, but there is no result.”
