A road traffic accident occurred at the “Qamchiq” Pass, where a passenger car fell into a stream. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the report, on April 26, the driver of a “Volga” vehicle traveling along the “Valley–Tashkent” route on the pass section of the A-373 highway lost control of the steering. As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a stream located below.
The “Qamchiq” special rescue department was notified of the incident via the “112” unified call system. Rescuers arrived at the scene within a short period.
During the rescue operation, two citizens inside the car were extricated and provided with first aid. The victims were subsequently handed over to emergency medical personnel.
Additionally, the vehicle that fell into the stream was pulled out to a safe area using specialized equipment. An investigation into the incident is currently being conducted in accordance with established procedures.
