The times of Superliga 1st round matches have been confirmed

The new season of the Uzbekistan Super League will start on March 7. This was reported by the UzPFL press service. According to the information, the matches will be broadcast on Sport TV and Futbol TV channels.

The UzPFL has already clarified the dates of the first two rounds, and announced that the dates of the official matches after the FIFA days in March will be announced after the draw for the group stage of the Uzbekistan Cup.

After it became clear that Pakhtakor will continue its international campaign, its match against OKMK in the 2nd round will be held on March 16. The Tashkent club will host Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal on March 4 in the 1/8 finals of the AFC Elite Champions League. The return match will be held in Riyadh on March 11.

According to the PFL plan, Pakhtakor was supposed to start the first round of the Super League with a match against Mashal on March 7. However, after the match with Al-Sadd ended, the club developed a game plan against Al-Hilal. In order to seriously prepare for it, the club turned to the PFL. The appeal requested that the first round of the Super League be postponed to another date.

The UzPFL took this possibility into account in the calendar plan developed in October 2024, and designated the first dates of April as reserve days. Based on this, the request of the Pakhtakor club was satisfied.

Thus, the new Super League season will start on March 7 with the match between OKMK and Bukhara. The match times for the matches between Kyzylkum and Surkhan and Khorezm and Shurtan, which will be held on March 8-9, were determined taking into account that the players of all four teams will be away on neutral grounds.
