Real Madrid trusts Mbappé – dental problems are behind him

Real Madrid’s management and coaching staff believe that Kylian Mbappé’s recent dip in form is only temporary and mainly due to a dental issue – the player recently had a tooth removed.

According to Marca, the French forward is fully fit and ready for the match against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, March 9. Mbappé is eager to play and feels confident about his performance.

After a slow start to his debut season in Madrid, Mbappé quickly regained top form. Notably, he scored a hat-trick in the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg match against Manchester City (3-1).

However, things took a downturn afterward. He missed key chances against Girona (2-0), was absent from the game against Real Sociedad (1-0) due to his dental procedure, and was one of the weakest performers against Betis (1-2). In the recent Madrid derby against Atlético (2-1) in the Champions League, he was barely noticeable on the pitch.
