Nasaf’s win over Surkhon, coach's comments and referee controversy
In Matchday 5 of the Super League, Nasaf defeated Surkhon 1–0 on home ground. After the match, the team’s head coach Ro’ziqul Berdiev responded to journalists’ questions.

– In the first half, we had many goal-scoring chances, – said the coach. – We created 5 real opportunities. We could have extended the lead, but unfortunately didn’t capitalize.

– After the red card in the second half, we were forced to make tactical changes. The most important thing is that we held on to the 1–0 score and secured 3 points.

One journalist asked a critical question about striker Sharof’s performance:

– I disagree with that opinion. Sharof didn’t play badly. In the goal-scoring moment, he provided an excellent assist to Ceran.
– He also scored in the previous match. Right now, we are using him not as a striker but as a defender, and that’s not easy either.

The red card incident involving Oybek Bozorov was also a focal point during the press conference. Berdiev shared his thoughts openly:

“Some of the referee’s decisions were unclear to us. His calls in the first half also surprised me. The strangest thing — in Oybek’s situation, he didn’t refer to VAR, didn’t even wait. We will express our protest regarding this.”

With this victory, Nasaf continues its fight for top spots in the league standings.
