Andrey Annenkov has joined the coaching staff of Neftchi, the club's press service reported.

"Our team, which has set itself high goals, will have experienced Ukrainian coach Andrey Annenkov working as an assistant coach with Vitaly Levchenko.

Andrey Annenkov began his career in 1986 at the Avangard Kursk club. He spent the next two years at the Ukrainian team Iskra (Smolensk).

In 1990, he accepted an offer from Dynamo Kyiv and worked in Kyiv for two years. Andrey Annenkov is also one of the coaches who has worked for the Ukrainian national team.

Andrey Mikhailovich Annenkov began his career in the youth team of Arsenal Kyiv in 2007. Having achieved good results in teams of various categories, the coach was appointed head coach of Arsenal in the 2014/15 season.

In 2019, he worked under the staff of the head coach of the Ukrainian U-20 team, Oleksandr Petrakov, and became the winner of the World Youth Championship. Due to his high results in this tournament, the specialist was awarded the Ukrainian Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports will be awarded the title of employee.

In the 2021/22 season, he will join the coaching staff of the Odessa club "Chornomores".
