Talented midfielder from Uzbekistan, Abbasbek Fayzullaev, who plays for the Russian club CSKA, gave an interview to the "Match TV" channel about the changes in his game. After the important victory over Spartak in the Moscow derby (2:1), Abbasbek clarified his current state.
— I myself feel that my performance has changed this season. This is a new position for me, and I am required to return to defense more than before. Maybe that is why I am not playing as brightly as before. But the most important thing is to help this team. If the head coach puts me here, of course, I will try to work there and do my best to benefit my team, - said the player.
Asked whether there were discussions with head coach Marko Nikolic on this issue, Abbas answered as follows:
- Yes, of course. The coaches know my physical condition well. I passed the physical tests during the winter training camp well. That is why Nikolic wanted to see me in this position and is explaining in detail how I should play.
It should be noted that the 21-year-old Uzbek player has played in 33 matches in all competitions for CSKA this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
Abbasbek Fayzullaev and his team CSKA are currently in third place in the Russian Premier League standings with 51 points. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
