Brazilian football legend Ronaldo has expressed his satisfaction with the appointment of his former Real Madrid and Inter teammate Carlo Ancelotti as the head coach of the Brazil national team. According to him, this appointment could open new hopes for the national team.
"This is a fantastic decision! Ancelotti is a master of his craft. We have many problems in the team, but at least now a top-level specialist has taken over the managerial role. Ancelotti has the potential to reprogram the entire system," Ronaldo told local media.
He also critically assessed the current state of the Brazilian team: "Right now, we lack a clear playing style and confidence, but I believe Ancelotti will fix this."
After 14 rounds of World Cup 2026 qualifiers, Brazil is currently in 4th place with 21 points. This result is much lower than usual for the national football team.
