Nasaf forward Rubin Hebaj, who participated in the important match against Andijan in the Super Cup final, shared his impressions after the game. The Albanian footballer emphasized that the match was played under difficult conditions, and the team's determination was the key to victory.
– In my opinion, today’s match was very tough and played under strong mental pressure. The rainy weather and the heavy condition of the pitch made it difficult to play. But we didn’t stop, tried to control the game, and in the end, turned the result in our favor. A small difference between the teams decided the win, – said Hebaj.
The striker said that playing against his former team Andijan did not bring any psychological burden and spoke warmly about the fans:
– During the one year I played for Andijan, the fans supported me in every way. I’ve always respected them and still do. But we are professional footballers — no matter which team we play for, we always give our all on the field.
Rubin Hebaj also commented on why his number of goals for Nasaf is still low and linked it to an injury:
– At the beginning, I was out of the team for a month and a half due to injury. That definitely affected me. But now I’ve recovered and started scoring. I hope that from now on I’ll get more playing time and continue helping my team with goals.
Although Hebaj has not yet fully found his rhythm at Nasaf, his motivation and self-belief may be a sign of an unexpected rise for the fans. If he gets more opportunities in the upcoming matches, his place in the “Dragons” lineup will surely become stronger. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
