The international boxing tournament, which has been going on in the Thai capital of Bangkok since May 24, has been full of intense and uncompromising fights. In the next fight within the framework of the semi-final stage of the tournament, our compatriot Shodiyorjon Melikuziev, who entered the ring in the -50 kg weight category, successfully overcame his test.
In the competition hosted by Thailand, Shodiyorjon took to the ring against his Thai opponent Titiwat Plongaura. In the first round of the fight, the Thai boxer acted quite actively and gained an advantage on points. However, our compatriot was able to show himself in a completely different way in the last two rounds - he technically and physically surpassed his opponent.
In the second and third rounds, Melikuziev put his opponent in a difficult position with accurate and powerful blows and managed to sway the judges' decision in his favor. As a result, he advanced to the final stage with a convincing victory on points.
This result is not only a personal achievement for Shodiyorjon Melikuziev, but also important for the Uzbek national team. His high sports form, willpower and technical skills were reflected in the ring.
We remind you that the tournament will continue until June 1, and another interesting fight is expected ahead - another representative of our country, Muhammadazizbek Ismailov, will fight against Kang Chia-Wei from Chinese Taipei. This clash will undoubtedly arouse great interest among fans.
The Zamin.uz editorial team congratulates Shodiyorjon Melikuziev on reaching the final and wishes him a high result in the final stage. We look forward to him raising the flag of our country high in the final! Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
