"Shurtan" head coach: We dedicate the victory to the people of Guzor!

The Super League 13th round match "Shurtan" – "Surkhon" (2:1) was very important and emotional for the hosts. Elyor Moyliyev’s students, who needed a victory, were able to show willpower and character on their home field. At the post-match press conference, the head coach spoke in detail about the great work and the trust of the fans.

— We prepared thoroughly for this game, — said the coach. — To improve recent results, only a victory was needed in this match. Unfortunately, we conceded an unexpected goal due to our own mistake. But even in this situation, the guys did not give up, showed they were strong in spirit, and responded with two goals. We dedicate the victory to the people of Guzor and all the fans who trust us.

According to the coach, one must always be ready for any possible situation in football. Moyliyev noted that he constantly explains this to his students: "We never give up and will fight until the last minute," he said.

Speaking about the tactical changes in the second half, he noted that after the opponent was left with fewer players, it was necessary to increase the attack.

— By sending a fast and attacking player like Jurabek Mannonov onto the field, we aimed to take advantage of the superiority. This paid off, — said the coach.

Moyliyev also spoke about the policy of giving opportunities to young players:

— All our players have equal opportunities. Abror Toshquziev justified this trust today by scoring the winning goal. Javohir Hasanov will also be brought onto the field in due time.

At the press conference, the problem in the attacking line was also mentioned. The coach admitted that the team needs an experienced striker and competitive players on the wings:

— Right now, our striker born in 2006 is playing in the attack. Without a doubt, an experienced forward is needed to help him and keep the opponent under pressure. Competition is also needed on the wings. We will see soon how the squad will be formed.
