UFA leadership participated in the FIFA Executive Football Summit in Miami

FIFA President Gianni Infantino congratulated the Uzbekistan national team on qualifying for the World Cup for the first time.

“The FIFA Executive Football Summit, organized annually by FIFA, is currently considered one of the most important dialogue platforms in world football. These high-level meetings bring together leaders of national football associations, the FIFA President, and confederation representatives, providing an opportunity to discuss the global development of football, share experiences, and discuss strategic directions.

This year’s summit is taking place in the American city of Miami. Along with representatives of a number of FIFA member national football associations, the First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Football Association, Ravshan Irmatov, and Secretary General Avaz Maksumov are also participating.

Within the framework of the summit, various directions of football were discussed — in particular, children’s and youth football, women’s football, as well as the organization of FIFA tournaments, including the upcoming World Cups, women’s tournaments, and youth competitions.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino sincerely congratulated the Uzbekistan national team for receiving a ticket to the FIFA World Cup for the first time in history. He also especially noted that the Uzbekistan Football Association is one of the associations that has successfully implemented the FIFA Forward project.
