In the picturesque Swiss city of Lucerne, the Rowing World Cup is underway, where athletes from Uzbekistan have made history for the first time. This time, our compatriot Shahzod Nurmatov, with his drive for victory, determination, and willpower, honorably represented not only himself but the entire nation.
Notably, Shahzod competed in the LM1x category (lightweight single sculls) and won a bronze medal at this major international competition. With this, he presented the first medal for Uzbekistan in events of this kind.
