"Inter" may finish 2025 without a single trophy

Milan's famous "Inter" club lost its last hope in the 2025 season. Under the leadership of head coach Cristian Chivu, the team lost 0:2 to Brazil's "Fluminense" in the 1/8 finals of the Club World Cup and left the tournament.

With this defeat, the "Nerazzurri" were officially eliminated from the fight for all titles this year.

Looking back, up to April 23, "Inter" was simultaneously moving toward championship in four different competitions. But everything fell apart step by step. The first blow was the defeat to "Milan" in the Italian Cup semi-final. Then in Serie A, they lost the chance to "Juventus" and had to settle for second place.

The most painful loss, undoubtedly, happened in the Champions League final. Paris's PSG defeated "Inter" 5:0 and took the cup from their hands. In this match, the Milan team looked very weak, with the opponent having superiority in every aspect.

The Italian Super Cup final held in winter was also unlucky for "Inter". Again, it was against "Milan", and once again, the rival took the victory.

2025 gave "Inter" so many opportunities, but none could be brought to completion. For fans, one thing became clear: the team needs restructuring.

For Cristian Chivu, this season became a major test. Whether the club management will continue to trust him is a question. But clearly, such defeats require thorough analysis and fundamental changes.
