Anvar flew in Finland as well: new national record set

Uzbekistan’s athletics witnessed another historic moment. Anvar Anvarov, representing our country in an international competition, set a new national record in the long jump. This was officially announced by Olympic.uz.
At the international event held in Finland, Anvarov achieved a result of 8.25 m, not only becoming the champion of the competition but also surpassing his own national record of 8.23 m, which he had set a few weeks earlier in Tashkent. This outcome marks a new milestone in Uzbek athletics.
Another major result of the competition — in the women's high jump — was achieved by Barno Saifullaeva. She earned the bronze medal with a jump of 1.85 m and raised the national flag proudly.
Meanwhile, the national team athletes continue to demonstrate high sports form.
