Sharifa Davronova wins gold medal at Universiade

The Uzbek delegation has completed its participation in the XXXII World Summer Universiade Games in Germany, the National Olympic Committee reported.

On July 27, Sharifa Davronova, a young athlete from Samarkand region, claimed the gold medal in the women’s triple jump with an outstanding result of 14.33 meters, outperforming all her competitors.

Her victory contributed significantly to the overall medal tally. Uzbekistan ended the Universiade with a total of 4 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals — a sign of the country's growing presence in international sports.
