Experienced defender Doston Tursunov is taking his professional career to a new level. This was reported by the editor-in-chief of “Championat.asia”, Narzulla Saidullaev, citing his personal sources.
According to available information, Iranian clubs had previously shown interest in Tursunov. However, the player declined the offer to play in that country. Instead, he decided to join “Lee Man”, a club competing in the Hong Kong Premier League.
Reportedly, Tursunov will sign a one-year contract with his new team, with an annual salary of approximately 300,000 USD, which equals around 3.8 billion Uzbek soums.
The 30-year-old defender appeared in 17 official matches for “Khorezm” this season. Due to his strong physical form and vast experience, he attracted serious attention from the Hong Kong club. Experts expect Tursunov to perform at a high level and make a significant contribution to his new team.
