Which of our young boxers have reached the Asian Championship semi-finals?

In the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, the Asian Championship among boxers under 22 and youth continues at full speed, reports the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan. Within the framework of this tournament, held from July 30 to August 12, today the last day of the quarterfinals ended. Members of our national boxing team demonstrated unique character and endurance in the matches.

In today’s program, in the -50 kg weight category, Odilshoh Halimov entered the ring and in the match against the host, Thai Kiatitsak Sukwe, lost with a score of 1:4. Despite this, our young boxers did not stop fighting.
Abdulaziz Abdunazarov in the -55 kg weight category, in the fight against Indian Shivam, did everything he could, but the bout ended with a score of 0:5.
In the -60 kg category, Abdurahmon Mahmudjonov defeated Chinese Kun Wang 4:0 and made it to the semi-finals. This result once again demonstrated our team’s high potential in the tournament.
Jahongir Zayniddinov (65 kg) scored a confident victory with a score of 5:0 over the South Korean representative Seyoung Song and advanced to the semi-finals.
Abdulaziz Jo‘raqulov in the -70 kg weight category won 5:0 against Chinese Haosheng Zhang. His dominant play aroused great interest among the fans.
Muhammadjon Yaqubboev, in the semi-final qualifying fight, defeated Turkmenistan’s Ismail Orazmiradov 4:1 and went to the next stage.
Norbek Abdullaev, also in his weight category (80 kg), defeated Chinese Zhennan Suo 5:0, opening the way to the semi-finals for our team.
Samir Sobirov (85 kg) defeated Vietnamese Troung Kiet Li in the very first round and earned the applause of the fans.
In the -90 kg weight class, Muhammadizo Siddiqov lost to Indian Hemant Sangwan 0:5.
In +90 kg, Islam Salikhov scored one of the brightest results among our youth, sending South Korean Geonhui Lee to a technical knockout in the 2nd round.

Our boxers showed will and readiness in the dramatic and tense matches of the championship. Ahead await them even more important and responsible matches. The fans are eagerly waiting for new victories and the appearance of new champions in the semi-final and final stages.
