Manchester City’s main goalkeeper in recent years, Ederson Moraes, may continue his career in the Turkish league.
According to reports, Galatasaray, which has shown strong interest in the former Brazil national team keeper, has not given up its goal despite several unsuccessful attempts. The Turkish club has significantly increased its bid for Ederson.
According to well-known insider Nicolo Schira, Galatasaray’s new offer has reached €15 million. Previously, Manchester City had rejected the Turkish club’s €10 million proposal.
The Istanbul side plans to offer Ederson himself a three-year contract. During this period, the experienced goalkeeper is expected to earn €7 million.
Since 2017, Ederson has been defending Manchester City’s colors under Pep Guardiola. The English club paid Benfica €40 million for his transfer. His current contract runs until June 30, 2026.
Insiders also emphasize that this move by the Turkish giant shows the club’s intent to strengthen its squad with an experienced and high-level goalkeeper. Ederson, meanwhile, may well take the next step in his career in Turkey.
