The renowned Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has added another new player to its squad. Interestingly, the team this time signed defender Saad Al Nassir, whose surname is similar to the club's name. The 24-year-old has now become Cristiano Ronaldo's new teammate.
According to previous media reports, Al-Nassr offered Saad Al-Nassir from Al-Taawun for approximately €6.5 million, plus options to acquire 24-year-old striker Mohamed Maran.
The young defender caught the attention of coaches and scouts with his versatile movements on the field and consistent play. With his arrival, Al-Nassr's defense is expected to be further strengthened.
A day earlier, a major change occurred in the club's squad - Spanish defender Emerick Laporte left Al Nassr and returned to his former club Athletic Bilbao. This forced the team to fill the gap in the defense.
