According to FIFA, a dynamic pricing system will be used in the initial stage of purchasing tickets for the 2026 World Cup. This means that fans will be able to purchase tickets at different prices depending on the supply and demand in the market.
During the first sale, which will take place from September 10th to 19th, VISA cardholders will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
According to FIFA's official statement, tickets for group stage matches start from $60. However, in the playoffs and decisive stages, especially in the final, prices rise sharply and can reach $6,730.
According to Falk Eller, head of FIFA's ticketing and hospitality department, approximately 1 million tickets have been prepared for the first round of sales. At the same time, he noted that dynamic prices can change depending on demand.
This method is often used in airline tickets and hotels during holiday seasons or during large events. Now it is widely implemented in major sports competitions, such as the World Championship.
Thus, ticket prices could be quite high for fans planning to attend the 2026 World Cup final.
