According to media reports, current Spanish champions Barcelona are considering sending forward Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United due to concerns about his physical and mental preparedness.
The 27-year-old English footballer was brought on loan from United at the start of the summer transfer window, and under the terms of the deal, the Catalan club had the option to buy him outright for £30 million.
Rashford appeared in all three of his first La Liga matches: one as a starter and the other two as a substitute. But he didn't show himself as expected.
According to El Nacional, Barcelona's management has already warned the striker - if he wants more playing time, he needs to increase his level of preparation. Because, despite the fact that he made a good impression in training and control matches, he did not show the expected result in official matches.
Therefore, the Catalans are now considering the possibility of terminating his loan ahead of schedule. If this decision is made, Barcelona will be required to pay Manchester United €5 million to terminate the contract.
