A Spanish professional athlete ran 100 meters in 16.55 seconds in high heels and entered the Guinness World Records.
Roberto Lopes Rodrigues ran backwards in blue high-heeled shoes with a 7-centimeter heel. He complemented his look with socks and a sports uniform of the same color. After crossing the finish line, the athlete immediately took off his shoes and said that he felt a sense of lightness.
Rodrigues is considered an experienced athlete with many records. This time he also improved his previous result. Earlier he ran 100 meters in high heels in 20 seconds. In addition, among his other achievements are such records as the fastest 400-meter run (1 minute 1.38 seconds) and running 100 meters in flip-flops in 12.10 seconds.
