The World Boxing Championship for adults, taking place in Liverpool, England, is in full swing. Seven of our boxers are scheduled to fight in today's program, and some of them have already delighted the fans.
Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev in the 65 kg weight category and Javokhir Ummataliyev in the 80 kg weight category qualified for the finals. At the same time, Feruza Kazakova in the 51 kg category and Aziza Zakirova in the 70 kg category performed well and were limited to bronze medals.
In the -85 kg weight category, our compatriot Akmaljon Isroilov faced his Austrian opponent, Michael Fares Derouich. The fight was intense for three rounds. Our representative maintained his dominance every minute, and the referees praised his accurate and impressive shots. As a result, Akmaljon Isroilov won by unanimous decision 5:0 and qualified for the final.
