A rain of literal goals was witnessed in the 5th round of the German Bundesliga. Borussia Mönchengladbach hosted Eintracht at their home ground and the match amazed the public. The encounter was full of 10 goals and ended with a 4:6 victory for the visitors.
In the first half, the Frankfurt team displayed a truly attacking game. The visitors confused the opponent with successive strikes and quickly brought the score to 6:0. Köch scored twice (11th and 47th minutes), Knauff (15), Burkardt (35), Chaibi (39), and Uzun (45+1) put their names on the scoreboard.
However, Borussia M also did not give up. After the middle of the second half, the hosts went on the attack to save their reputation in front of their fans. Kastrop opened the score at the 72nd minute, Tabakovic scored the second goal in the 78th minute. Then Engelhardt (83) and Ranos (90+9) added two more goals to make it 4:6. But time did not allow the hosts a full comeback.
