Following the So'g'diyona - Neftchi match (0:1) in the 23rd round of the Uzbekistan Super League, Fergana's head coach, Vitaliy Levchenko, participated in a press conference and shared his thoughts on the game.
"It was a very difficult game"
According to the coach, the away match was a big test for both sides:
"We had a very difficult meeting. Both teams took preparation seriously. Before the game, I told my players that whichever team wins the most matches will prevail. In my opinion, today we prevailed in this aspect and therefore achieved an important victory.
My team was very thirsty for victory, the enthusiasm was high. Accordingly, I congratulate our entire team. The three points earned are very important for us. We will continue to strive forward."
"The weight of the field affected the game"
Levchenko also commented on the condition of the field:
"The field is very difficult. It looks beautiful from the outside, the color is also green, but the weight is felt when the ball is kicked. Therefore, it presents a significant challenge for the players.
Yesterday, during the pre-match training, one of our players got injured. This indicates the poor quality of the field. In such conditions, the probability of players getting injured increases even more."
Conclusion
The Fergana team won a difficult away match and continues their fight for the championship. Levchenko emphasized his team's fighting spirit and enthusiasm for victory, stating that it is necessary to look forward together with the fans.
