Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts after the 2-0 victory against Olympiacos in the second round of the Champions League.
Arteta believes his team played a successful game against a difficult opponent and is happy to keep the goal intact. "We started very well. We scored a goal, then we had good opportunities again. Taking advantage of such opportunities is crucial in the Champions League. If you miss them, you can easily lose," the coach said.
In the final minutes of the game, David Raya's brilliant save secured the team's victory. "We should thank all the guys. "They acted very well," concluded Arteta.
Arsenal also sits in 5th place in the league table with 6 points. Greek club Olympiacos is in 29th place with 1 point.
The Greek club will face Barcelona in the third round, while Arsenal will face Atletico Madrid. Both matches will take place on October 21.
