At the IBA.PRO10 boxing evening in St. Petersburg, Uzbek boxing master Bakhodir Jalolov confidently challenged the next challenge. In the fight against Russian super heavyweight Vitaliy Kudukhov (7-4, 3 KOs), Bakhodir dominated for eight rounds and won the unanimous decision of all three judges.
From the very beginning of the fight, Jalolov controlled the distance, keeping the opponent at a distance with a ranger and a jab. Kudukhov tried to become more active in the final rounds, but Bakhodir's preparation and tactical discipline kept the score safe - a clean victory by points in the end.
With this victory, Bakhodir's perfect pro-development series continued: 16 fights - 16 wins, 14 of them early. This was Kudukhov's third consecutive defeat.
Another sweet fact for fans: two-time Olympic champion Jalolov once again demonstrated his ability to maintain intensity before major competitions and delight fans even as the level of competition increases.
In short, the Petersburg evening brought another piece of good news to Uzbek boxing fans - Bakhodir's bright streak is not about to end.
