The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has released its latest list of football clubs with the most valuable squads in the world.
According to the updated ranking, London’s Chelsea currently tops the global list in total squad market value, well ahead of its rivals.
After spending heavily on transfers over recent seasons, Chelsea’s total squad value has reached €1.807 billion, surpassing Real Madrid (€1.684 billion) and Manchester City (€1.485 billion).
Real’s high position is no surprise — its roster includes top stars like Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior, Mbappé, and Rodrygo. Manchester City, after two active transfer windows, has returned to the top three. Notably, Uzbek player Abduqodir Khusanov, valued at €35 million, also contributed to the team’s ranking.
As of October 2025, the top 10 most valuable clubs according to CIES are:
1️⃣ Chelsea — €1.807 billion
2️⃣ Real Madrid — €1.684 billion
3️⃣ Manchester City — €1.485 billion
4️⃣ Arsenal — €1.474 billion
5️⃣ Paris Saint-Germain — €1.440 billion
6️⃣ Liverpool — €1.403 billion
7️⃣ Barcelona — €1.352 billion
8️⃣ Tottenham — €1.047 billion
9️⃣ Bayern Munich — €934 million
🔟 Inter Milan — €866 million
Arsenal and PSG also make the top five but still trail behind the leading trio.
Interestingly, most teams on the list consist of young, promising players, suggesting even fiercer competition on the transfer market.
Abduqodir Khusanov remains not only Uzbekistan’s most valuable player but also the most expensive footballer in all of Central Asia — attracting attention from international scouts.
Thus, Chelsea currently stands as the world’s dominant leader in both financial strength and young talent.
