Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has criticized the club's transfer policy. He believes the club's management shouldn't have let go players like Rasmus Højlunn and Scott McTominay. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Schmeichel believes Manchester United couldn't provide sufficient support to Heylun. He said: "If Hyoylun exists, why bring Sheshko? The club was unable to provide him with the necessary support for two years.
Now, along with McTominay, he's performing well at Napoli," Schmeichel said. Peter Schmeichel played for Manchester United from 1991 to 1999.
He also unexpectedly played for Manchester City.
