Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp believes Manchester United shouldn't have brought back Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo. He expressed this opinion in an interview with the YouTube channel The Diary Of A CEO.
According to Euro-football.ru, Klopp emphasized that the result would often not be justified upon the player's return. According to Klopp, if he had been the manager of Manchester United, he wouldn't have brought back Pogba or Ronaldo.
He said that a player's return to his former team rarely brings success. For information, Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Manchester United in 2021.
However, at the end of 2022, the Portuguese forward left the team due to a conflict with the club. Ronaldo is currently playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
The 40-year-old's contract runs until 2027.
