Ilya Zabarny scored twice yesterday and received a red card

PSG defeated Bayer Leverkusen 7-2 away in the UEFA Champions League group stage. In the match, the visitors' central defender Ilya Zabarny showed an unsuccessful performance.

According to Opta Sports, the Ukrainian footballer became the third player in Champions League history to score two penalties in a single match and receive a red card.

Zabarny allowed the opponent to take two penalty kicks and was sent off. In the summer of 2023, Ilya Zabarny transferred from the English club "Bournemouth" to the French champions "PSG."

The Parisian club signed the defender for €63 million. Zabarnyi signed a long-term contract with PSG until the end of June 2030.
