Honorary president of the Russian Football Union, Vyacheslav Koloskov, commented on Arsen Zakharyan's performance for "Real Sociedad" in the cup match against "Negreyra". The La Liga club won 3:0, with Zakharyan scoring one goal.
"He scored a goal in a game against a sixth league team. This does not diminish his achievement, but it is still too early to draw conclusions.
The main goal is to secure a place in the starting lineup. Everything else will come later," said Koloskov in an interview with "RB Sport".
The midfielder's current contract with "Real Sociedad" runs until the summer of 2029. The player's transfer value is estimated at 7.5 million euros.
