PSG has given an official statement on its website regarding the injury sustained by forward Desire Due. The player was injured during Wednesday’s away match against Lorient (1:1) and could not hold back tears.
"The player has suffered an injury to the muscles of his right thigh and will not be able to return to the field for several weeks," said the statement from the French league’s grand team. PSG also announced it would provide the next medical update on 20-year-old Due’s condition after the national team break in November.
