Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim shared his impressions of his first year at the club. The Portuguese specialist was appointed last November to replace Erik ten Hag, who was sacked.
“A long road is now behind me. It was a very difficult year, sometimes tough, but also rich with positive moments.
I learned a lot and remained true to my beliefs even during the hardest times. I would like to work for many more years at the club in the future,” Amorim told The Touchline.
Last season, Manchester United finished 15th in the English Premier League and reached the Europa League final, but lost there to Tottenham. After nine rounds of the current EPL season, the “Red Devils” are in sixth place in the league standings.
