Newcastle coach explained the reason for substituting Voltemade

Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe explained his decision to substitute striker Nick Voltemade at halftime during the game against West Ham. "We know well that we field him in almost every match.

He seemed a bit tired to me, and I decided that substituting him would benefit both the team and Nick himself. Because he has taken a lot of responsibility upon himself.

If I notice that he is tired, I need to help him," Howe told the Magpies’ press service.

For your information, Voltemade became a Newcastle player during the summer transfer window. Since then, he has appeared in 12 matches in all competitions, managing to score 6 goals.
