Klyuev Says Coach's Words Were Misinterpreted

The agent representing Russian football player Aleksandr Golovin, Aleksandr Klyuev, commented on Monaco’s 1-4 defeat against Lens. Following the match, Monaco head coach Sebastien Pocognoli made remarks about a missed opportunity by Golovin.

Klyuev emphasized that Pocognoli did not blame Golovin for the loss. "I believe these remarks were taken out of context.

The coach simply stated that if Sasha had converted that chance, the game could have unfolded differently,” Klyuev said in an interview with "Match TV." He also highlighted that Golovin is regaining his top form.

This can be observed in his recent performances and the two goals he scored against Nantes.
