Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier has found himself at the center of a heated debate with political implications. The controversy erupted after he "liked" a post by former deputy Julien Aubert.
Aubert is a supporter of Marine Le Pen's party, which has been labeled "extremist" by official circles in France. Initially, Chevalier remained silent about the issue but eventually chose to address it publicly.
"They are trying to portray me as a fascist. I don’t want to lodge a complaint, but all the red lines have been crossed, and even pressure is being exerted on my family," Chevalier said.
