Romeo Lavia, the midfielder of the London-based football club Chelsea, has sustained an injury and has been sidelined. According to the club's press service, the 21-year-old player will be unable to appear on the field for at least one month.
It should be noted that Lavia was injured during a UEFA Champions League group stage match against Azerbaijan's Qarabag team, which ended in a 2-2 draw. This season, Lavia has appeared in seven matches for the London team but has not registered any goals or assists.
His current contract with Chelsea is valid until the summer of 2030. Currently, Chelsea is in third place in the English Premier League standings with 20 points after 11 rounds.
