The head coach of the Russian national football team, Nikolay Pisarev, revealed the uncertain participation of two players in the Bet Boom friendly match against Chile. The players in question are forward Nikolay Komlichenko and defender Ilya Vakhaniya.
"Komlichenko is undergoing treatment and is in the process of therapy. We have given him a break and will monitor his condition.
There are also issues concerning Vakhaniya, but there is still enough time before the game starts. We will observe their recovery process," Pisarev said in an interview with "Match TV."
It is worth noting that on Wednesday, the Russian national team played a home game against Peru, ending in a 1–1 draw. The Russians were leading for almost the entire match but conceded a goal in the final stages of the second half.
