Foden Evaluates His Performance Against Serbia

England national team's attacking midfielder Phil Foden shared his thoughts following the victory against Serbia in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match. The British side secured a 2-0 win in this game.

"I think I played well. I created several opportunities near the opponent's goal, but I wasn’t able to convert them into goals.

That is, of course, disappointing. Overall, however, I am satisfied with my performance," said the player in an interview with UEFA's press service.

Following this victory, Thomas Tuchel's team strengthened their lead in the qualifying group with 21 points. The England national team has secured its qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup ahead of schedule.
