Caicedo – A True Defensive Genius

Former footballer Pat Nevin, who once played for Chelsea, has praised the performance of London club's defensive midfielder Moises Caicedo. According to Nevin, Caicedo can excel in any team because he is not merely a defensive disruptor but a true genius of defense.

Caicedo transferred from Brighton to Chelsea in the summer of 2023. The transfer fee amounted to 115 million euros.

With the "Blues," the Ecuadorian midfielder has played 114 matches, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists. Chelsea currently stands in third place in the Premier League table, having earned 20 points in 11 matches.
