"Barcelona" forward Robert Lewandowski shared his thoughts on his younger teammates. The 37-year-old Polish footballer is the oldest player in the "blaugrana" squad.
Many of the team's players are nearly 20 years younger than him. "I remember how I was when I was their age, what I was involved in, and it’s hard to compare myself with them.
Right now, I am older than some of my teammates' parents. The younger players treat me like a father figure; it’s funny, but also very endearing," Lewandowski said in an interview with Spanish media.
Recently, the experienced striker recorded a hat-trick in a La Liga match against Celta. The former Bayern Munich star’s contract with the Catalan club is set to expire in the middle of next year.
