Nagelsmann: We Are Not Playing for a Draw

Germany's national team head coach Julian Nagelsmann shared his thoughts ahead of the decisive match against Slovakia in the final round of the World Cup qualifiers. This game will determine which team secures a direct ticket to the tournament.

Both teams have 12 points, but Germany holds the advantage due to a better goal difference, meaning a draw would be sufficient for them. The match is scheduled to take place on Monday.

"I have never prepared my teams to play for a draw. We will aim to win the game.

This is our standard, and it should remain so. If we play better than we did today, we can win," Nagelsmann said in an interview following their 2-0 victory over Luxembourg.

It is worth noting that Germany lost to Slovakia 0-2 in the first round away game.
